Terms of Service
These terms govern use of SweetKora, provided by SweetKora LLC. By creating an account, booking through a SweetKora page, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them.
The service
SweetKora provides software for salons, spas and similar businesses to manage appointments, clients, payments and communications. Businesses (“customers”) subscribe to the service; their clients use it to book appointments, complete forms and pay.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, and for the access you grant your staff. Tell us promptly at support@sweetkora.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Customer responsibilities
If you use SweetKora to run a business, you are responsible for:
- The information you enter about your clients, and having a lawful basis to collect and use it.
- Obtaining any consent the law requires before messaging your clients, honoring opt-outs, and complying with laws that apply to text messages and email, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the CAN-SPAM Act.
- The services you provide, your pricing, and your policies toward your clients.
- Any professional licensing or regulatory obligations of your business.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or spam of any kind.
- Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload unlawful content.
- Attempt to access another business’s data, or probe, disrupt or overload the service.
- Resell or copy the service without our written permission.
Fees and payment
Subscription fees are as shown at sign-up or in your plan, billed in advance, and non-refundable except where the law requires. Payments that clients make to a business are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s terms; the business, not SweetKora LLC, is the seller for those transactions and is responsible for refunds to its clients.
Your data
Businesses own the data they put into SweetKora. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Businesses can export their client data from within the app.
AI-assisted features
Optional AI features produce suggestions, summaries and drafts. They can be wrong. Output is not professional, medical or legal advice, and you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on or sending it.
Text messages
Messages sent through the service are governed by our SMS Terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what a paying customer receives.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, non-payment, or to protect the service or others. On termination, a business may request an export of its data within 30 days.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SweetKora LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
Businesses agree to defend and indemnify SweetKora LLC against claims arising from their use of the service, their data, or the messages they send, including claims that required consent was not obtained.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
